Finally found the mysterious silver first gen

Well i didnt get any pictures yesterday but on my way back to town i was cruising down a side street near wal-mart when on the left of me waiting at a stop sign i see an 80s sports car.
I think to myself "that cant be the guy who owns that silver first gen" but as i notice him and he notices me i slow down and make an illegal stop on the side of tje road to wait for him to catch up to me. Few cars go by me then he goes by me i hurry up and throw it into gear and keep up with him as we start getting closer to the main road i kind jump for joy in my seat.
As i barely make the turning light a good 50ft trailing i speed up next to him and we reconize each other and try to talk and drive over my loud exhaust. Finally giving up on that i join his lane and follow him for awhile till he makes a stop next to the court house and park looking at each others cars like cant believe im not the only with this model. We talk and re-exchange names again he asks me how much i got it for and i told him where i got it at and the price showed him what i did to the car we talked about a few things body wise and exchanged some info on the cars. After all was siad and done we parted ways leaving me to be happy that i was bored and went for a drive.
Anyway thats my story.

Cool story!
I had something similar happen with my new FD buddy. We were at a stoplight in town and I gave him the rotary symbol with my hands - it's a /_\ kinda thing, triangle - and a thumbs up and he nodded, grinned and gunned it through the stoplight. Well I passed him and he ended up following me through town, a county road and another turn into my neighborhood. I slowed down and let him pass me quickly and he turned into the road before mine. Not trying to be too creepy I followed him home and we talked for 20 minutes about the cars. Now we talk somewhat frequently and just found out that he owns the 189th to the last FD RX7 imported with a build date of 12/95. Real nice guy and a beautiful car.

yeah after all was siad and done we exchanged phone # so we could meet up once in a while and he could come checkout a few of the other cars and people I have met over my time in my first gen.
and he is even willing to sell me some stuff off his parts car so im very happy hope his water pump house and water pump are still good cause I might need them lolololo
just glad I fixed my electrical problems yesterday
