FB Rubber Trunk Liner - Where to Buy?

The carpet in my cargo area is in good original condition, but the rubber mat underneath is dry and torn. Looks like it got torn when someone was taking the spare out. I can find sheet rubber online but before I go that route -- does anyone sell pre-cut mats for our cars? I checked the usual RX7 parts vendors and online carpet/mat vendors but nothing.

Nope, its an OEM thang. Mines a bit torn as well but its under the carpet so not a big deal. Oh, and I'm the one that tore it. Its fragile.

At this point, anything original is going to have the same problem. Mine was in good condition when I got it, but frequent trips to the race track where I pull it out have caused a few rips. There are a lot of different automotive sound deadening products on the market right now that you could combine to create a similar pad. I'm not sure it's wide enough but something like this would have the same acoustical properties as the original piece.

That looks good chuyler1. Yes I want something rubbery to protect the paint underneath. Thanks.

To do it right, I would get some of that, then also get some carpet padding or thick foam to build it up high enough to clear the spare tire, and glue the two materials together.
