Lightbulb Fan clutch

I'm only allowed to post here so here it goes.

Replacing fan clutch on my '85 12a. I bought a fan to suit a series 3 but I didn't double check the photos.

Anyway turns out it has one less blade (7 instead of 8)
The clutch has a larger diameter
And the mounting plate is a few mm wider

It will still mount up and spin properly (plenty of room between fan and radiator) but I'm wondering if it will actually work. If it still bolts up and spins freely there should be no problem right?

Just double checking, thanks.

Nope the fan seems to be from a S2, mounting holes are about 2mm further out. Would have been easier to check it first lol.

Delete, close, whatever.
