expertise?
a neighbor backed into my car , busting the tail light, cracking the center piece, and denting the body.
initially he said he'd pay me
I asked only for $100
After 4 months of delays and excuses, he told me to sue him.
So I filed a small claims suit. All during the time it took for the case to be heard, he tried to intimidate me. shouting from the balcony, banging a stick, pit bull....
At the preliminary mediation, I accused him of acting like a thug. And you know what? He started acting like a thug.
At the formal trial, I did my evidence thing
His girl friend said that the damage could be repaired with "a part" from an auto parts store, and that my car was all old and raggedity... ( in an afro american southern accent, but I bet she sure can dance)
The female black judge asked the guy's black girlfriend , "so tell me what expertise do you have in auto body repair that you base this observation on? I have to go with the plaintiff who has an estimate from an auto body repair shop"
Guess you had to be there, but I thought it was funny as ****!!
So what I was going to let go for $100 ends up costing the idiot almost $600. No wonder he lost his license from multiple DUI's. So people are too stupid to drive. Afterwards I said to me, he tried to settle. Maybe this retard doesn't know that he lost the case???
ps....I have the tail light and center valence piece, but thanks to all who would have helped me out!!

But did you get the money? I took someone to small claims court once. Judge found in my favor but all they could do was put a lein on their property. After about 7-8 years they sold that house and had to pay, plus intrest, but J/C, it was onlt a few hundred bucks. Doesn't sound like your buddy owns any property.

no, I will have to garnish his wages. I already found out where he works, and that he isn't that good of an employee. Statute of limitations on court judgements is 10 years.
When the time for appeal is up. I'm going to ask the cops how should I handle things. Should I get outta Dodge first?
He is a small time pot dealer and full time alcoholic. So he might get arrested before I can collect anything.

Me? A racist? Deductive reasonning is making it hard not to be.
"Now tell me, what expertise do you have in auto body repair that allows you to make such a statement", the balck female judge asked the idiot's girlfriend.
When it was obvious that I was going to win, the judge asked me if I had any questions or anything else to say. I clenched my mouth shut and shook my head "no". The judge thought this white boy is smarter than he looks.

I say that rap music is a conspiracy by Sony (the japanese company) and the jews (who control the media) to subjugate black people. It promotes at the very least conspicuous consumption, taking on credit card debt, and not thinking things through.

And then black folk freed from the shackles of whitey will run everything, but they can't.......Helter Skelter baby!........ala Charles Mansion
Since the 14 day time for appeal has expired, I can give more details. My idiot neighbor knew I was hit in the same place a year ago and got +$400. He could of argued that the damage was already there from the previous accident.
Or that since it wasn't repaired professionally then, he should not have to pay the professional's fee now.
Also he should of looked the parts up on e-bay. He could of bought them for a hell of allot less than what a body shop would charge, and then offerred the parts at the trial in exchange of a settlement.
What I learned was do NOT use pronouns infront of the judge and have documentation from a business.
