I love the rotor at night, but the stock red gauges are easier on my eyes and there's not much I hate more about driving at night than the light from the gauges/CD player being blue or white and bright as hell.

There ya go. Unfortunatly my Alpine doesn't change colour. Also I'm a trucker, so after 12 hours of driving my eyes are pretty much done, so it's nice to get to the yard and hop in the car with lighting that's easy on the eyes.
There used to be a forum member that was making them a while back. Scott something. I can't remember his last name. I actually purchased the kit for the '81-'83 style cluster. He was making them for the S1, S2, and S3 gauges. Maybe someone will remember.
