Epic DIY Failures

had to share:

I really wish they had an explanation of the turbo that had its exhaust side stuck inside an intake pipe. Warm air intake?

I mean come on! Who wouldn't want to lift their truck by welding springs to the leaf springs!

*Can no longer keep a straight face and goes into cardiac arrest from laughing too damn hard*

This makes my welding seem professional. lol

Maybe this guy saw these mufflers listed as 'Turbo' mufflers at the autoparts store..so why not put a turbo on them, right???

it's a throttle body, which doesn't seal all too well, and it's cable operated...

Early exhaust cutouts were basically a butterfly valve operated by the same thing as a choke cable. A friend of mine put one on his brand new 68 GTO. Due to exhaust pressure, it could only be opened between shifts, which was a hoot when blasting by by some old fart and opening it up between shifts.

You don't need to kill them, or place them on work detail, just keep them from reproducing for the love of God!!!

That link is a collection of pictures posted in the Honda-tech fab forum... old stuff there, and some of that stuff is epic win. The turbo's hidden above the mufflers was on a 800whp Mudstain.
