Aww come on guys! These guys are the geniuses of our time! Without their ingenuis creations we wouldn't know what not to do!
I mean come on! Who wouldn't want to lift their truck by welding springs to the leaf springs!

Maybe this guy saw these mufflers listed as 'Turbo' mufflers at the autoparts store..so why not put a turbo on them, right???

Early exhaust cutouts were basically a butterfly valve operated by the same thing as a choke cable. A friend of mine put one on his brand new 68 GTO. Due to exhaust pressure, it could only be opened between shifts, which was a hoot when blasting by by some old fart and opening it up between shifts.

That link is a collection of pictures posted in the Honda-tech fab forum... old stuff there, and some of that stuff is epic win. The turbo's hidden above the mufflers was on a 800whp Mudstain.
