Crashed my Protege

Coming back from Seattle in my crap car (94 Mazda Protege) a tree came down on Highway two, right for my car, I dodged it only to slam into a guard rail at about 60. The Huge tree closed down the highway for about an hour. I managed to limp my poor car away from the scene. Thank Goodness my little 7 was in her warm garage home for the winter...hehe. I'm glad it was my POS car and not my rex, but....now I have no "car" to drive, borrowing a roomies car is a very temp situation (huge clunky Ford Explorer....yuck), any one know where I can get a front panel for a 94 protege, and perhaps a new wheel and front turn signal reflector, that would be cool! This is why I need a trusty Subaru for a winter car or somfing, perhaps when I get out of school, and get more moneys.

Learn to drive :p

^^car-parts.com is a great place to go, I usually "shop" there. Also, sometimes Ebay can be a good place.

Was your car the DX or LX? I had a 1994 Protege as well, that thing kicked ***.

well after many many hours in my garage taking off the fender (which is a biatch!!) and going trigger happy with a mallet, getting a new wheel and placing it on, making sure my struts where all in good order, and going apesh*t with the mallet again, my little blue car is much uglier, but very drivable! Do I feel ashamed driving a car with a fender that looks like a reject from the junkyard? a little, do I really care knowing there is a cherry Rx-7 back home safe, not really . I have my winter car back, all is well, except I never want to have to remove a fender like that again Just need a new passenger side turn signal and she'll even be completely street legal again!

I could never get that to happen. Although once when my tires were bald, I hit "115"mph, and traffic was still going around me :p
