Seems like everyone with an Sa or FB in their garage is seeing higher prices and jumping to sell theirs for stupid prices.
I saw an 85 GSL online with less than 6000 miles. Black with red int. for $12k. Said it was showroom new looking. So I drove up to see and it was not what the guy said. Miles were right but it had 2 bad scratches where a truck had hit it and a loose shock or spring on the right front. The interior was beautiful with red leather but the a/c and antenna didn't work. No stock wheels.
It seemed like it had been sitting for a very long time. The guy had not taken care of the car at all. It also had a large ding on top of the quarter panel. It could be made to be showroom new but it was going to cost. He wouldn't budge on the price so I left pissed off.
I am looking for a red or gray gsl-se with red leather but I'm afraid by the time I find one it will be ridiculously expensive.
