Console Hinge and Latch
Console Hinge and Latch
Just as an FYI, in case you're looking for such a part...
I've looked a long time for a decent console lid base to replace my busted one. Currently, on eBay, they're selling a base replacement with latch and hinge. I've never seen the part before. I ordered and received one, and am very pleased with the part.

Guess I could have been more specific - here's a pic. It's from a place called Phil's Rotaries in Australia that is going out of business. They appear to have a lot of RX2 and RX3 itmes, also. They also have defroster vents for the earlier RX7's...
They have been "closing down" for about a year now. The console lid plastic hinge and dash vents are repro items. Phils do lots of repros, some ok, some very average.
i have bought both of the items in question. Fit and overall design is perfect. However, the casting mould or process is of questionable quality as it has left lots of flashing on the joins of the mould. This needs to be filed/sanded down manually.
also don't assume the colours of the demister vents with match OEM. I bought the black and will spray them with colour matched vinyl dye.
that all said, new OEM parts are NLA so this is your only option and they're cheap. Just be prepared to do a little work on them if you want them to look like OEM.
