Check Out My New Rewinds!

The day after arrival in California I was rolling on the Rewinds. Tires are 205/50/15 Falken ZE502, made in Japan and pretty sticky for the price. Thanks to Hikaru and Dustin from JLB Motorsports for setting me up with this cool package. I'm a crap photographer with a junky camera, sorry for the quality.

The previously mounted ancient Potenzas were great for sliding around and chirping into second, but the Falkens are very grippy and ride smooth too. A vast and very satisfying difference. I really like the agressive look of these tires too.

Thanks! The car is all original other than the wheels. The only cosmetic fix that I have planned is reupholstering the sun damaged seats.

how would you describe the spoke colour ? ... I bought some rewinds in silver last year for the 79 LE and I keep thinking I should have got the ones you got as that might be a close match to the E6 "beat Black" colour of the limited .

is it grey , gun metal , or on the black side , got a close up in the sun ?

look great on the white BTW

Thanks, I like the graphite spokes too. You could always have the silver spokes custom painted. Then you would have some real unique wheels!

Most of those guys are inactive members. They probably don't even own them anymore.

Elliot right? I am the same way with forum names. Thanks again for the compliment, props to you for keeping your car original. Anyhow, the event was cool. Look forward to doing something again. Maybe a driving event?

Nice!! You think you can try and get more pics to see how flush it is with the fender in the rear? I wonder if you could custom order them to have the rear wheels at +10 offset instead of 20.
