The ducting would be interesting.. since most of the frame under the panel is not open to the engine bay.

I doubt it's to vent the engine bay. It's probably just to vent the hugh high pressure and drag area behind the front tires once the fender liner is removed. Drill 3 hles and rivet on some louvers that's all they did. I bet my FB is faster around Tskuba than that one. I'm willing to bet there are at least 20 NA FBs on this site that would be faster than that one, not to mention all the sick turbo FB's around here.
