I have an '84 GSL-SE with the 13B engine. I have a whining noise coming from the tank which does not seem to be venting well. I would like to replace the charcoal canister which I think may be part of the problem. Any suggestions for a replacement part? Car is bone stock by the way. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

 

We had this same problem on my dad's GSL-SE. Have you tried blowing out the charcoal canister lines using compressed air? That solved our pressure issue in multiple cars.
