Basically, it allows you to make full use of the traction of both rear tires for better launches and corner exits and whatnot.

the lsd makes both of the rear tires spin, for a more obvious approach, but only one tire when low speed cornering, because if both tires spun, the car would hop. as the inside tire is making a smaller circle than the inside and spinning faster.

and btw, its vtec, not vtech. vtech makes phones

Want to learn, start reading. In my sig line are some links to the FSMs, carb manuals, etc. Also look up SgtFox's link to his online manual library and read, 'How to Modify Your RX7'

Welcome to the forum. Beatifull 'Cuda, but fwiw, a 1st gen will smoke it on a short autocross course. I've owned a 65 'Cuda and a 71 Roadrunner, along with driving frequently a 72 Challenger back in the day.
