I can drive one with a hardtop on, but there is no way I'd be getting a helmet on with the hardtop.

I also attached a shot of me in the passenger seat of a friends Miata. I'm just a wee lad.

riddle me this: when I test drove the miata, my thighs didn't fit under the steering wheel ( I am an average sized guy). So how is that the short really fat lesbian that was my boss at Philips managed to drive a miata???

For the record, my rx-7 with an atkins rebuilt engine had more pull that that miata.

For me, I can fit in the NA as long as I don't have anything in my pockets and narrow shoes on. Seat is all the way back and seatback is fairly reclined. I have never tried to race an NB as I just don't fit, period. I can't even close the door without creating a fat cohesive bond between the door, my leg, and the steering wheel. If it was drive by wire with thought control, I'd be good to go. The need to turn the steering wheel relegates me to passenger status only. I sat in a NC at the dealership. Felt roomier, but I have never wheeled one so no clue there.

The seat in my FB is pretty far FORWARD. Right knee in the corner between the dash and center console. I can't drive any car straight-legged, partially because of joint issues (can't sit on my thighs, have to sit on my butt and back)

Headroom gets worse the further back you sit so it is good to move forward. My headrest is even with the edge of the doorframe.
