ahh sorry for taking so long to get pics. my car has been in the shop.. more details on that later tho

hope these work for you openshot. i need to go on a photoshoot tho! with better lighting definitely. these pics dont do justice on how much they really shine!

i've been receiving nothing but compliments from everyone thats seen my car! kinda nice lol
even my wheel repair guy was giving props on how my car looked with these rare gems. he currently has one wheel because its been leaking in the centers and is repairing it for me. i wonder what some good maintainance tips for polished aluminum are. any suggestions?

again thanks to everyone for all your replies!

Looks great! Lower it now! Ask the guy that refinished the wheels for you on what would be best to take care of the lips. Let us know what he said

So i finally acquired a set of epsilon center caps for my southern ways. afaik they should fit. Although when i try to put them on, they are too big. I took a vague measurement and the center cap is 2.75" diameter and the center hole on my centers are about 2.5"

Attached is a picture of a Southern Ways wheel being sold on yahoo autions japan and I can see the part number on the cap and that is the same number on these Epsilon caps I have.

I am thinking whoever painted the centers last time painted it too thick. Or they might just not fit. Any thoughts?

step one: dont think a hammer will be such a good idea considering the tabs are thin pieces of plastic aged 2 decades or more old.

step two: check!

yes, riteway (wire and exotic) wheels in concord. talk to jose, the owner. he did a fantastic job!

step 3: i think i might need to source different model center caps since i am starting to believe weds, southern ways, epsilons, whoever decided to produce different centers with different diameters for the centercaps.

p.s. i am not sure about the bbq meet this weekend. probably the cruise on jan 3 tho!

ok so i have acquired another set of caps which were the wrong size as well. took some time to find them haha. they are harder to find than the wheels! i then found another set that had 3 caps only which finally fit my centers. so now i am looking for another pair or just one more...

i guess it turns out that epsilon, weds, southern ways, what have you, made different size holes for i suppose different size centering rings for different cars. mine needed the 2-1/4" diameter center cap. the other two that i had were 2-3/4" and 3"

sucks that my replica stickers will not fit my correct center caps but they will fit the other two sets. gotta trim them perfectly circular somehow...

these were the kinds i needed:

not these ones:

notice the difference?

that's all for now! merry christmas rx7 club and fellow first genners!
