body kits, where to buy and how to install?

i am looking at getting a body kit for my fb this winter. here are my questions...

Where can i get an affordable kit, everybody says mariah but they are so damn expenisve, and all i want is a cooler rear bumper and some sideskirts but i want to leave my front bumper stock cuz i love that old classic look. anyone know of some place where i can get a rear bumper and side skirts for under a grand? actually more around 5-600 would be great.

also i have never worked with body kits pretty new to me, can u guys explain(pics would be great) how they attach to the body, do they fit right over wats there or do u take the old bumpers off? how are they held on?

if i could get some answers from the pros here that have done this stuff be4 it would be greatly appreciated
thanks guys

dont buy make one its alot better because you can make it what ever you want. and true having a side skirt and rear end body kit only and leaving the front does not look right

It's a pain in the ***...... The kit came with some 3M adhesive, and some screws.
It turned ok though.

hmm...i really dont think i wanna do this anymore i was just thinkin about how beautiful and original my fb is and a body kit would f that up. maybe just a nice wing painted the same color and some of thoes bbs rims would set it off better...i always thought the whale tail style wings on an fb makes it look like a porsche

It is a lot of work.
theres 6 screews that hold the rear bumper on. plus the glue.
and i made a few brackets to hold the lower part of the bumper to the body of the car. I think it took me a week to get it all right.
