ON Black Dragon

Any feedback on the service or products from Black Dragon.

I'm need some wheel cylinders for my '81 and their prices are about 1/4 of other places. I'm wondering why (poor quality?).

Any info would be great.

Tks

Their customer service/products are top notch though I would strongly suggest finding someone on the other side of the border and using their adress to ship to otherwise S & H may be higher than the price of your parts.

I bought door seals from them, the long one that goes all the way around and the sort one outside the driver/passenger windows. They work, but unfortunately don't great and causes the doors to need to be shut hard in order to close. I've yet to find a window seal replacement that really fits perfectly.

I cant even begin to tell you, how much I spent with those people! From when they were Victoria British to the now ricey name of black dragon! They are the best for stock parts, and cant beat the price! Although for you S&H could be a bio-tch! But as fo0r quality, service and customer service (i.e. you screw up and order the wrong thing, you can send it back with no charge! except any difference if what you need is more expensive), you cant beat it!

In short, they are great!

they are very easy people to deal with but when i ordered my intake gasket it took about a month to get to my house because it was on back order, other than the extremely long shipping time i had no complaints...

Yes, they seem very pro. Just be aware that most of their replacement parts are aftermarket... don't expect mazda-branded stuff at those prices.

I ordered some rear drum cylinders from them. Fine price, fast shipping... and obviously came from two completely different manufacturers, and of a different internal build from the original. China-import-quality castings.

But they work fine.

I live about an hours drive from BD and prefer to drive down to KC and pick up parts instead of ordering from the other big rotary names. The parent company is LMC which supplies parts for a good many different cars and trucks. I have no idea how many different catalogs they have but if you're into restoration, they probably carry it.
