Nick is being returned home for medical treatment. He may be around to play all summer by the sound of it. Should be back soon...

Thanks for the kind words guys!

The wheels are Revolutions, 13x8. They have 4" backspacing. The tires are Sumitomo HTRs, at 215/50/13....

Kentetsu could you possibly go lower in the front if you wanted to? If so how much? And are you running 8" springs? Did you weld the pearches at 6"?

Yeah, I can go quite a bit lower on the front and the rear. For races, I'd go about an inch lower on the front and leave the rear where it is.

I think they are the 8" springs, Billy could say for sure or I'll measure them next time the wheels are off. I did weld the perches at 6", and would say that is the perfect spot. I'm always about in the middle of the adjustment range or a bit lower...

Hi Kentetsu.

Do you know the offset on your revolutions?
I am just in the process of buying a set of 8,5" in the rear and 7" in front.
Offset 20 in the back and 25 in front.Do you think that works??

Thanks
Jan-Tore

The only measurement I know for sure (because I measured it myself) is the backspacing, which is 4". Not sure what the relation is to "offset" or how to measure it...

Offset and backspacing always throw me off... That's why I keep this chart handy!

So then my 8" wheels, with 4" backspace, would be zero offset. Is that correct?

Orion, I can't wait for that event. The car has received a lot of cleaning over the past couple of weeks. Also, a lot of maintenance items I've been putting off for too long (tie rod ends, small oil leak where I need to replace a crush washer, a little bit of paint touchup, not to mention the new wheels). After giving her that much attention, I'm nearly convinced the motor will blow up or something. She always does **** like that when I spoil her. lol...

i'm jealous that you're able to go to DGRR. No funds + snow = next year *maybe*
