Billet Distributor Option

I was looking for a fresh start option to replace the stock distributor and came up on this:

https://jd-tuning.com/products/almanzar-motorsports-mazda-rx7-billet-distributor-hall-upgrade-no-core

A few vendors carry it, but I could not find a video, review, or anything detailing how it would work and what is required to i stall. Its a hefty tag, but looks interesting. I assume it would be installed with an EFI setup and electronic ignition? Does anyone have any knowledge on this option.

This will not work to replace a first gen rx-7 factory dizzy in stock configuration. You would also have to convert to some sort of ignition computer and crank angle sensor.

"This complete replacement of the original distributor with hall sensor and 24-1-1 trigger wheel inside."

I for one a very intrigued by this.( I’m running a second gen CAS). I’d assume the real benefit of the Hall effect would be at higher rpm. Anyways, thanks for sharing!
