as much as it doesn't sound very good, i've been driving the car with that bad rear end noise for a few years now.

and if you do go there i can listen to it. maybe we could fix it as well someday

that makes me feel better, my friend now hears it and says it's very bad sounding as well.

It seems to get worse as the car warms up, I have no idea how much heat goeson in a differential but I "had fun" with a mildly modified neon and a stingray on the freeway for a few miles, after the car was "sad" sounding my friend said lol... "poor ole girl shes screaming in sadness" and persisted I slowed down and gave her a break (was already off the freeway though)

Is that kinda like it? If I took her for a drive right now I doubt I'd hear it for 2-3 hours of on-off driving also taking hard corners I got r-compound tires it seems after turning hard (Like a hard u-turn) it'll start that noise again...

anyways sorry for off-topic, yeah I'll def try to come though, how can I tell how much oil is in the diff maybe I should add some, or should I just change it today?

ohh I should change it today, isnt it only like a 15 min job? Theres a auto-x going on maybe I can barrow the 35 bucks & the cash for diff oil.

you can check it by using a 3/8 ratchet to open the filler. if you are on level ground the amount of fluid should be about level with the opening for the filler.

LOL they wanted to make sure we weren't doing something stupid. then they almost crashed when they were leaving the area. one of the cops did a slight burnout J turn and nearly lost it

yeah i took the car out drifting and surprisingly nothing bad happened to my crappy FB!

an FC nearly broke down though, he had lots of understeer and his car got louder as he was drifting... or.. skidding haha.. hope his car is ok
