i just wanted to throw this out to my fellow 1st gen owners here on the club who may not be a member of www.ohiorotaries.com and are near the area (or far away) that would like to attend this autocross that a friend of mine has set up. a friend of mine is a Corvette owner and a member of their nationwide Corvette club which does autocrosses and road courses and such. he was telling me that he organized an autorcross on may 25th. the location is at the old ford plant in lorain ohio. entry is $25. a helmet must be worn. the insurance is paid for. there will be porta-cans, possibly a food stand, and most definatly a time keeper. my friend Scott, wants the RX-7 guys to come out. he lost a race one year to an FD and wants another shot. since getting to know Scott, he has come to appreciate and respect the RX-7, even like it (he drools over my TII's and my 84 GSL) and for a Corvette guy, i respect that. i'm in for sure. we just want everyone to come out and have fun on this all day event. i'll post more info as soon as i get it. at this point i'm just trying to compile a list of people who would like to attend.

where about is that located in ohio, because im sorta local. however there is a drift/autocross event in novi MI on that same day, and my plans are to attend that.

its in north centeral ohio. 40 mins west of cleveland. i'm about an hour and 15 mins from toledo
