Why don't they ever have it in Norcal? LA is far (8 hours) and also my car would get ticketed with illegal mods in LA for sure. Whatever I'll never go to LA again if I have a choice it sucks. They need to have it in Pleasanton or something next year....

Probably because it's always been organized by the local club, and has been held at a Mazda HQ facility (either R&D or more recently at HQ) for almost as long.

They're both in Irvine.

 

sevenstock is a socal rx7 club event. the socal guys used to actually give us a hard time, cause they have events like mazfest, and sevenstock, and in norcal we do NOTHING.

if you want an event in pleasanton, set it up! mazda actually does have a training center there, and they have laguna seca (this is where the first few mazfests were, but the SOCAL guys got tired of driving!)

nothing personal, its just that sevenstock is big and in irvine for a couple of good reasons
