Anyone else ride on 2 wheels around here?

I just got this new bike for pretty cheap locally, and have been wrenching on it the past couple of days. Its a 1979 Honda CB750K, with carb issues, charging issues, and who knows what else! Got it home and within 2 hours had everything off except for the motor. The pics arent much but here she is! I'm just wandering how many other motorcyclist first genners were out there. Post a pic of your bike if you can!

We'll, I've had bikes since before my 1st first gen. Currently have two bikes and plan on heading down your way for the ROT Rally this weekend! Your bike was pertty trick back in the day. Will go good parked next to your Rex. Good luck with it!

I used to, years back, but a close encounter with a lawn chair on the I5 during rush hour convinced me that commuting through LA on a bike was not conducive to long-term survival.

Then I got married.

Yeah, I've got a 1972 CB350F, in the process of being cafe'd.

There's also a 550 and a 750 in the stable.

Sweet theres alot of us into the cafe look i guess. I was really wanting an earlier cb (69-78) or kawasaki kz, but all my buddies were buying bikes and nothing was showing up so i jumped on the 79. Its still a beauty, but cafe'ing it will be hard because its DOHC.
Seems as though theres a bunch of us out there! Keep them coming!

Jealous of the vintage CB's on here - would love to find a decent 550 or 750 to play with. Currently riding an 08 HD Dyna Fatbob, which I love. Very un-Harley, with a wide front tire, dual discs, and little chrome, which is great for me as I'm not really big on the typical Harley image. What I'd REALLY like is a new Ducati Multistrada 1200 S...oh so sweet, but $20k

I dont have pics readily available but I own 3: a 650cc ATK, 750cc GSX-R, and a triumph with sidecar. The triumph is going a full resto over the winter.
