Sounds like its running well!! How long had it been since it ran last?

 

How long since it has been really driven? Who knows. I bought it from the son of the previous owner, who is no longer with us. The PO bought it 20 years ago and it was tabbed for last year. but I understand that it was not really driven due to health.

So it needs tires, new paint eventually. we need to machine polish the faded paint out. replace the back carpet. that seems to be it on the surface. Maybe install A/C if I can scrounge the parts.

Then there is my 80, which is a much larger project.

 

Would love to see pictures of the car!!!

Car looks like a worthy project!! What is the color code on the vin plate? Is it AY or U2?

 

The 1980 project is code "U2" which is Blue Stardust Metallic or something like that.
