Aftermarket front bumper covers?

Aftermarket front bumper covers?
Ok, so I need some help. My '84 project car does not have a front bumper cover, though I did have one at one point, but it got sold off without my approval. So now I have a car with no bumper, and new OEM covers are something like $600, so that is a no go. Is there a decent looking aftermarket option out there that is not simply an air dam you mold onto the stock bumper? All I ever see is parts to replace the lower valance, but they never include the upper bumper cover portion. I'd much rather pay a few hundred dollars for a new aftermarket cover than a ton for a new OEM. If you know if any, please help me out and share them with me. This is sort of holding me up in the paint department, since I want to do it all at once.

Though still more than I want to spend, only thing I have found that I could learn to love is the Mariah mode 4 front bumper. $500 plus whatever shipping would be, which would probably be expensive. Any of you running this bumper, and do you have pictures?

I don't have one, but almost bought one until I read a thread here pretty recently that said you actually remove the entire stock bumper(underskin) and replace it with some flimsy angle iron or something...This totally changed my mind about getting one. I had previously contacted Mariah few months ago, and at the time they were looking into another shipper that could be half the cost of their old one. I didn't follow up on it, though. I'm sure someone will chime in that actually has it and can clear up any confusion.

What luck! Here I have been in a panic about finding a bumper cover, and I had one all along. I had planned to use the one off of my black FB that got sold to the scrap metal man before I could salvage it, and the one that came on this car was cracked in two places, and I thought I threw it away. Apparently I didn't and looking through some of my junk I found it hiding out in a corner. I can easily fiberglass over the holes and fix one of the cracks in it. Salvation!!!
