hey guys i have a question will an 84 or 85 g gs gsl rx7 gas tank work on my 85 gsl se my tank has a big dent and the fuel level sensor doesn't work too i cant find a se tank so can i use a regular non fuel injection tank can i swap out the hard fuel lines
that are on my old tank over to the new one thanks.

 

The gsl-se tank has a little slosh cup/baffle welded in it and the others don't

That said, yes it works just fine they will bolt together, I'm running an 84 gs tank with a 85 gsl-se pickup assembly and have not had any problems.

If you do a lot of spirited driving you may not want to let the tank get to low, the baffle is there for a reason I'm sure.

 

thanks for the help I'm picking one up Saturday regarding the slosh cup/baffle I'm going to have a sump with fuel fitting welded on to it in the near future so i think ill be cool thanks again...
