82transam visits OH!

much to my suprise 82transam (Sean) and his lady friend Karissa came to visit me and the family here in ohio!! we had this planned for some time and we had a good time. Sean lives in the near communist state of NJ where owning a firearm is near as labor intensive as child birth. so we went shooting with my boom sticks (Karissa even fired the Mosin Nagant!!) and he cut some body parts he needed off of my two FB shells. he also helped me install the oem exhaust on my 88 10AE!! we did have fun though. the weekend went by too quickly and alas my rotary friend and his wild woman are nearing their home in NJ as i type. anyways, here are some pics of our weekend. i'm sure Sean will post more or some kind of spanish..

Sean meets the M&P:

Sean meets the Raging Bull .454 casull:

cutting some panels off of the shells:

the 83 GSL after Sean raped it:

more to come..and its a great way to stay in shape..

Yea man this weekend was a blast but i'd like to point out I just cut the roof off that 83, you, eric and randal were the ones who raped it with that spear lol. We have some good shots, once I get them off the camera I'll post them up, and yes it is a great way to stay in shape... that or some kind of spanish... lol great time.

also with the help of 82transam, we got the exhaust on my 10AE and i think it sounds pretty good. i made (with the help of some machine shop friends) a cat replacement pipe for the main converter. it was rotten and clogged. i removed the pipe from the pre cat to the test pipe and sanded down the flanges on a large belt sander and made sure they were perfectly flat and that there was no warping. i also shot blasted it and bead blasted it to ensure the rust was gone. painting it is next. all gaskets were replaced with oem gaskets. at any rate on to the pics:

newly used oem y pipe:

flat and clean flanges on the pre cat to main cat pipe:

new oem gaskets:

exhaust on the car:

will post a short video next...

well, Sean isn't from around here..he and his woman friend drove from New Jersey to Ohio to visit!!! i have no 7 buddies in the state, lol. the dark mantis was about four inches long! the other one was about that long but thinner!

bizarro, if i had thought about it, i would have sent that door handle and radiator petcock home with 82transam...

Don't have a ton of pics to choose from, most are just more of the same of what you already posted, but figured I'd post a few more of us out at the farm pillaging parts cars, and one shot of Dave with the shotgun lol.

That first pic with the .454 makes it look like Sean slid backward about 3 feet when that sucker let loose.

Looks like the perfect vacation; maybe you need to open the "Wankels and Weapons Dude Ranch and B&B."

Haha just about, gotta have a gorilla grip to keep that thing from flying out of your hands! lol
It was a great vacation, too short though, we should open up a b/b like that, shoot guns and work on 7's pretty much the closest thing to heaven haha
