Great video, always fun watching an in car video of someone at the track.

Any idea on what kind of power numbers you are making?

Thanks man.
It wasn't a race, just a track day event. As far as that grinding noise, it's more of a rattle and it's coming from the 3 link suspension...it's been that way for a long time. One of these days I will figure out a way to get rid of it.

Thanks man. No lap time yet. I need to invest in a lap timer. Just for ***** and giggles we could calculate a rough time for me from the video.

The noise seems real bad since the camera is right above the rear diff, but it's not that bad. On the other hand, I'm glad you guys are mentioning it...I need to fix that ****.

Yeah, I had the motor on the engine dyno...241hp / 167 tq, at the flywheel. Car weighs 2188.

Thanks dude. Check out my sig for details on the car. This event was over sold and there were a lot of people, epecially the advanced group. so...I got bumped down to the fast intermediate group; they always under estamate the car becouse it's a first gen. There were four run groups in all, beginner, intermediate, faster intermediate, and advanced.
The 13b swap sounds cool, or maybe a turbo?

I've been on Toyo RA-1 tires for the last two events, they are nice! Track days are fun, all you guys should try to make it out there. Around here we're allowed to take passengers so they can see what it's like. If nothing else just go to get some ride time.

I love when you are chasing the EVO and blow past the white CRX at 2:35. It's soooo loud but he's going so slow comparatively.

Thanks man. Actually I have been running on a set of 225-45-15 RA-1's, but not shaved. I end up having to rotate them (front to back) a few times to get them to wear well, but except for really hot days (+90 F) and/or long sessions (+25 minutes) I don't have any problems with them getting too hot from not being shaved. If you are just starting out I would'nt worry about getting your first set shaved. What's your setup like right now?
