Well, I'm pretty sure that people in the 20's (2020's) will be saying the same thing about some of the butt-ugly crap being worn today.

Here's the rest, lots of ads for accessories. If you are looking for that special something for your RX-7, you'll find it here:

three things:

eel skin steering wheel cover?

I want to see what that Compucruise looks like installed.

What happened to RX-7 Club of America? Was it around during FC and FD production?

They are all from the same brochure Dave, a mailing from RX-7 Club of America. I got it on ebay for the minimum bid of $6.00 or something like that. I've entered all the pages on this post (but not in the correct order).

This was the front cover:

If people have more of this kind of stuff it would be nice to have a central archive on the forum some place.

Thanks for sharing this Blast from the Past with me folks, our cars certainly have been through interesting times.

In 1979 I installed a Compucruise in my brother's new 79 Prelude. He paid $100. We flush mounted it in the center console. Magnets taped to the drive shaft triggered a sensor for cruise control. It had an inline fuel flow sensor and several temperature sensors. It was great to set your cruise control by typing the mph on the keyboard. The simple computer could calculate time, distance and fuel information with the input from the sensors. My wife's minivan has most of the same functuons in it's odometer, but back in the day not many cars even had cruise control.

The last Rotary Rocket that I have is December 89. Anyone have information about when the Club and magazine officially ended?

Ol SJ has got it goin on and he knows it. The other guy looks like he stole the jacket, he's probably got some Colt 45 stuffed in his pockets.

Those scans are awesome thanks.

I remember these hatch Carpets!!

I wish they were still available, along with a true
OEM quality front carpet set.

Man, the 80's were the best!

the RX-7 was truely at home in the 80's. what i wouldnt give to have purchased an RX-7 new. the RX-7 was truely in a class of its own. the looks are still timeless even today.
