Found an ex-SCCA RX-7 near me here. Guy wants 2,000. Runs and drives great from what he tells me. What am I looking at for a good price?

Depends. Are we talking about a streetable car, or full-out racecar?

From what he tells me it's streetable as it has everything it could need. He said I might need to put some lights in it, though.

That's the ad.

Well, the SCCA logbook has a certain amount of value, if you happen to ever feel the desire to run SCCA races.
Beyond that, seems like a pretty decent asking price, considering the extras he is claiming to have available. Just depends on what you want, and if it fits within your wants/needs and budget.
$2K is a pretty low price for a ready to go racer, but it seems to be towards the upper end of what an average condition 1st gen RX7 street car generally brings.
