I can get you a picture when I get home in an hour, but it should be a small "T" shaped handle directly under the dash, near your left knee about 8 inches back. From the seat you can't quite see it, but you should be able to feel it.
Grab a flashlight and look up from near the left side of the seat and you should be able to see it, or the bracket that holds if it's missing perhaps.

 

hood release is under the dash, driver's side, right next to the kick panel/speaker grill.
