although, i once had the pleasure of the company of a woman who enjoyed 7's as much as i do and actually thought the LS was God's gift to 7's. she's one that really melted my heart..but i dont think her family approved and the distance between us was 13+ hours. when we were together it was RX-7 magic, lol. one that i should have never let get away..we even parked our 7's next to one another like our children:

she was the best Mike... not that i have any regrets with my wife now but i often wonder what it would be like to be back with her and that sunrise red 85 GS named Lucy... after our relationship she sold her two 7's and finished college..drives BMW now. i still send her messages, taunting her about the Barvarian machine she drives.

unfortunatly no. Lucy was sold after Lucy's owner and i stopped seeing each other. i think the NC to OH distance was the killer. although she would come to OH and visit and i wold go to NC and visit. we even went to Myrtle Beach for a weekend once, which was nice because i had never seen or had been i the ocean before. so that was a nice time. her former owner and i still talk though which is super nice. i've been in search of Lucy who is somewhere in NC, as i would like to buy the car.

going to do the rear wheel bearings first and foremost. then it will be another oil change as well as coolant, trand and diff fluid and an overll inspection of all wear components. i will post pics of all that as well. might start a new thread to keep load up speed to a minimum.

here's the car tucked away for the night. will start more work on the car tomorrow after i wake up. working 11p to 7a tonight.
also wanted to add that when i was cleaning the headlights i noticed that they too are the original lights which is pretty neat.

here are a few pics i snapped a few days ago. kind of an update as to where i'm at on the engine bay restoration. the most recent addition is new oem nuts for the strut mounts. i do hate how the flash magnifies the rust and makes it look much more horrid than it actually is:

No idea, but I wouldn't mind getting the black GSL back that I sold her. Unfortunately, she had a lot of trouble with that car and the Holley. She called it Ricky, but I recall that it went for a long drive (sold to Texas, or thereabouts).
