The purpose of this thread its not to just post pics of the car and its stance, its to share the specs to help others to get a better idea on what specs to look for when getting other wheels

So then why even bother on posting it? If you arent helping the others and are telling them to google it, pointless

There is other threads where you can go and post pictures of cars just to post them.

I've been looking everywhere and tru this tread but i need more info that you guys might share

18x9 +14
18x10 +14

I'm thinking about 225/40/18 on front or 215/40/18
and for the rear 255/35/18 or 245/35/18 or 225/40/18

i will roll my fender but no pull/flare
i dont want dangerous stretch
i dont wanna play with camber alot(maybe a lil but not for excessive tire inner usage)
i will drop more (currently on STD coilovers)

THANKS A LOT SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS !!!

the car was standing on wood blocks that equal the tire so thats how it looks right now, with a minimal drop

Why do people opt for bad fitment and small tires rather than wheels that fit and wide tires?

because they think theyre cool, but we will see how cool it is to hit a small bump going 35 and throw your hella flush wheel on the ground and **** up some fenders. People are taking real sports cars and doing form over function **** that ruin these cars.

That hecka flush look is really not my style, but I won't hate at all. I like my wheels to be as functional as how much $$ I spend. Wide as possible and grips nicely on turns!

Bump for more hella flush look or wide as it can be!!

You would be fine running a 225/40 on the front but i would recommend a 235/35 on the front if u are worried about rubbing on anything. and it wont be a huge stretch and would match decently well with a 255/35 in the rear. and all ud have to do is roll the fenders and be done. i had a 215/35 on a 18x9 +13 and was entirely too much stretch...never again. i like a bit more meat on the tire anyway now.
good luck with it man!

because it's what they like and it's their car. pretty simple concept

yes they do think it's cool. I've gone quite a bit over "35" and hit plenty of bumps and my FD is completely fine, but whatever. as for taking a real sports car doing doing form over function.. please get out of here with all that mess. there are TONS of people on there that go throw a huge turbo on their FD..drag slicks and and that's completely fine for them to use a real sports car for just drag racing when it was meant to be a circuit car....or the people that do a bunch of engine work ..slightly lower their cars..with super awesome track suspension...and never seen not one track day... seriously.. stop. it's their car....let them do whatever they want. u don't like it move on...

JTurtonRX_7 -- are u running 265 all around??? very sexy my friend.

thanks FDmuri, some people told me 225/40/18 would be nice in front (still not 100% sure if it wont rub, 235/35/18 seams hard to find).

I was more worried about the back even if you said i could do it with a roll, some people tried to tell me the opposite. I just want to confirm with you if its possible without playing with camber.

225/40 and 255/35 gives the same stretch and same tire diameter and if i need to stretch more in the back 245/35 give a smaller diameter then front than 235/40 and its the same stretch

thanks a lot for your help, i hope everybody is going to appreciate in about a month when shes gonna be sexy !(i'll post more picture when it's over)

yea lol 235/35 is a bit more difficult to find, 225/40 normally isn't a huge issue unless ur going really really low. so that should be fine. 255/35 on the rear i've seen done on stock body with just rolling fenders, it'll camber it's self in a bit. IF you did have to add camber it would be a very small amount. but like i said, if ur not going super low, u'll be fine.

225/40 on 9 and 255/35 on 10 are not really what I'd call stretched... just saying

225/40 stretches on 9.5 (small) / 10 (perfect) / 10.5 (pushing it for fitment), at least that's how I see it.

Like you said both tires you chose have the same OD which is good. Still, going from a 255 to a 245 doesn't really make a difference in the end. It's only ~3.5mm less on sidewall height.

lol that's quiet the stretch, I know ppl running 255 on 12s so it can be done but personally I would not do it!

this thread would be 100000x more helpful if we can create a list of wheel's size, offset and modifications etc needed to fit without rubbing. Don't get me wrong, i love to see pics of other FDs it's just that there is already a thread for that.

I am positive this will not catch on but consider this my contribution to the forum lol:

17x9.5 +24 with 255/40/17 tires - clears aggressively rolled front and rear stock fender, -2 degree camber front & rear.

18x9.5 + 22 with 255/35/18 - same as above but must remove front wheel liner unless you don't care
