you cant afford the best one
if you can afford the best one
then you should spend it on education on how to use the search button
or better english

anything that isnt a ebay core will do fine

I like your sarcasm, and sorry my bad english, but I don't have time to learn it better!

My question is "what is the best FMIC kit for my car?" I don't ask, "what's the best FMIC kit that the money can buy?"
I want a good FMIC kit, for the specs of my car, easy to fit it without to many mods, less pressur drop and good eficienc. Want kept AC and Battery on same spot.

The specs of my car are: 13bt s5 streetport with a BNR stage 2, and a max boost of 1bar.

I think on Greddy Vspec and Rspec, any one can tell me what's the diference? and what's better for my car?

Thank's to anyone that can help me with this.

Regards

Edot; shitty camera pick but theres a 20 in the corner for size referance. Comes with all the piping, couples, hose clamps, and the throttle body adapter for 400 shipped

I pieced my "universal" front mount together with ebay piping, couplers, and huge core for under 200 dollars. Spent 2 hours with minimal cutting.

No issues at all for over 2 years.....

....coolant seal went though, not temperature related.

Your english is 1,000,000 times better than my Portugese, man.

Are there many fcs in Portugal?

Yeah....it has been good to me. Came with a batch of miata parts a while back.

I would use it (with a new filter) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HKS-S...Q5fAccessories 25 bucks.

I have heard "stories" about the foam descintigrating (sp) and getting sucked into engines though.

Again, i have had no issue and have not personally seen this.

Thancks very much, I will see.
The Ebay Mcore is good enought?

In Portugal exist some FC, but not to many. Here major part of people don't like wankel engines.

I have 2.5 inch pipe and had to notch my shock tower and weld in a 3.5 inch pipe. This new channel works well with no clearence issues.

I would think that 2 inch pipe should have no issue clearing the p/s.

Yeah i figured.... Just threw me because i saw another guy post a vid on here from portugal with 2 fcs on it. Didnt know if you guys were like a secret austrailia

Good luck with the fmic.....you can still save even more money though not getting a fc kit, and piecing a universal pipingkit and huge core.

If you have the resources buy a quality(GReddy, ARC, etc.) core, and make your own piping. I'd stay away from that ebay stuff. Here's a pic of mine, Its a ARC core specially for the MK IV supra that I made fit.

Sorry for the pic, I didn't feel like taking the bumper off.

I payed $400 with free shipping for mine on eBay. Not including my BOV. That was $200. Pretty much bolts right up,fits great, huge performance difference and you can't beat the price.

my XO2 setup - 87TII

shortened end of section connecting to the TB elbow by 1.25" to clear A/C line and brake fluid reservoir.
hot side section connecting to the IC had 1.25 inch portion removed so it would align with hole.
along the bottom of the face plate where the bumper brakets bolts on to there is a lip that's ~7/8". I trimmed it down to 1/4". The lower end of the IC now sits back further towards the car minimizing the amount of material to be removed from the bumper cover.
leading ignitor is bolted to shock tower below IC tube.
fuse box is between battery and fan shrowed.

I can't hep but noticing the passenger side where the tubing enters,
Good luck on trying to get the Lights to retract down with that Setup Clubuser.
You still have time to reroute that pipe while the front is off though..(other than that,it looks good).

I personally dont think anyone makes a "good" kit for the FC. If you want it done right your going to need to do it custom with a good core, endtanks, placement and proper routing.

Anything that comes as a "kit" for our cars requires lots of hack and butch.
