I am really looking forward to Zoom Fest 2010, I was not able to go last year due to other track related obligations, but will be there this year, as the Event Photographer, and I am excited about the event, and meeting a lot of other rotary enthusiasts.

I don't know how close Spring Hill, TN is to Atlanta, but in Cobb County, there is a guy named Charlie Shatzen, owner of Mazcare, he has built some really nice cars lately, a really nice FD that runs in ST2 with NASA now, and a few race cars, he is very rotary knowledgeable.

Now, a Diesel truck on track, that I have to have a picture of!

FD - nope. Although I have to give it to the guys at tweak it racing. They found the cause of my almost car fire, fixed it and the car now needs some piping for the IC and Airbox, the profec B wired in, the EGT hooked up and then a tune. She runs but baily under her own power due to the out of the box tune.

SA - nope, has new heart. Still has fuel issue, needs rear axle and brakes, needs exhaust touched up.

Rx2 - Like a champ

REPU - needs clutch (on order) and a good going thru (tune up, flush rad., etc).

Brent was correct. He just said he was going to see Travis next weekend (another track event) AND at Zoom-Fest. Two events I read it that way at first too, but then I re-read it

Only if you tell us what you're planning.

Of course you can come. Anyone can come and hang out and enjoy the festivities. To race on the track at this point though, you need to have a Mazda or Mazda powered vehicle.

I have an IS300 that i'm planning to swap a 13b-t into, but i'm having difficulty tracking down the appropriate parts and information. i have an aem ems for management, and i'm a machinist by day so i have access to alot of tools and resources. like i said, still in the planning/buying stage right now. lol.

Well the Canadian boy will also be there again It was a blast last year (minus the car failures) but should still be fun this year.

I'm just getting ready to dive into the miata gearset swap tomorrow. That should conclude my shopping for parts I think, unless I decide to make my new aluminum rad before then. Also I should be driving down with my semi slicks this time so I should have that much more fun at the track

Holly you better be there !!!!

Hmm, I thought the money we paid to Billy would have covered this.

He is talking about rental car insurance so you could rent the car, beat the crap out of it and return it without without repercussions.

I'm just slow and stoopid sometimes. We used to do that in our car club at school. It was called the rent-a-car autocross. We were done when the tires started chunking, then we would return it when it was dark.
