Ok so you may know or not. I have a 91 NA with Jspec 13bt in it. I have 3" intake and 3" rb downpipe with 3" cat eliminator pipe to 2.5" y pipes back. I also have an ecu i bought from slpin. It is a genuine jspec knight sport ecu. Im pretty sure all it does is remove the Fuel cut and maybe some more aggressive maps but probably not by much becouse it is impossible to have a generic "aggressive" map. So ya the car runs very strong and im going on 4000 miles with no major problems. I just want to keep it that way. I ported the wastegate and on a warn day it stays at just about 11psi. What else is recomened to be "safe"? I have a autometer a/f guage it reads one slash into rich when i get on it so i know that the fuel is ok right? Also i have an oil press. guage electric. I have good oil pressure. So what else should i do. I know i should get a water temp and maybe oil temp. and i will soon. But what else? FD fuel pump. Slightly bigger secondaries? Im going fmic with the stock top mount in a week or so. But seriously what else is recommened to be "safe"?
sorry for the long post.
get a temp guage before you put on a front mount, a front mount will most likely block flow to the radiator so you'd best be careful of that, either that or get an aftermarket top mount, that's probably what i'm going to get soon
well seeing as i have an n/a hood with a top mount i think ill just go front mount. but besides a fmic and temp guage what should i do in terms of injectors, fuel pump, colder plugs, etc..
ill say a walbro instead of an fd pump, 720cc secondary injectors, and a boost controller so you can go at 12 psi= happy day lol. other than that ill say it's fine to put a fmic it may get you 5-10 additional whp. i have all the bolt-ons i just need the piping for my fmic and the 720cc injectors. after i put that i really want to see what whp i get out of my 7.
