All breather systems must have an atmospheric vent!
If you seal the system, and connect it to your manifold, then you will pressurize your crankcase under boost.
The reason factory systems are connected to the manifold is for emissions. but they still have an atmospheric vent in the intake.
Performance enthusiasts vent directly to atmosphere to prevent unwanted blow-by residue in the intake tract. The catch can prevents that blow-by from spraying all over the place.

Drain on a journal bearing turbo should be -12, if you're using something off the shelf, mostly its 10 - here at least - probably more for fitting convenience than anything.
The catch tank you mention with the filter, filter is often too dinky sized especially if clearances are on the larger size and add in a bit of wear. Main difficulty is fitting something large enough to allow breathing in a FD, especially if the breather lines are enlarged.

Installed the 2nd crank case vent today. I started car and still got some smoke. It seemed to take longer to start smoking and mayb a little less. I have not drove the car yet to burn off any excess. I guess restrictor would b the next step ? I will drive it tmrw and see what happens. I attached pics used -10an and used heat wrap. Near exhaust

Still smoking i drove the car yesterday. Enough to burn up an residual oil. Start it today same deal . so i pulled the feed line and it appears to have a restrictor. But its around .095 to .10 in size . i hope imeasured correctly i have some feeler gauges and i put. Them over the hole to measure width. I put 4 of them together and it appeared to cover the hole they added up to around ..095-.10 look at pics.
If im going to order new one. What size .065. .045. .035?
Banzai sells one w all three sizes.

Ok have update. I got my restrictor in from banzai today. I put in w .040 and not to much but did c some. .030 andit seemed to go away comparr ed to what it was doing. It is 75% better. Not perfect. I think some of the light smoke is condensation . still a small amount of blue here and there. Going to drive it to burnoff any oil and check it on cold start tmrw. Is a .030 to small though. I dnt want turbo to take a **** on me. Are the garrett turbosknown for this. I dont remeber my old s300 bw having any issues

New update w .030 restrictor. I drove car and burned yp residual oil lastnight. Parked all night cold start today no oil smoke. Just normal condesation smoke. Its a chilly high humodity day so seems normal. Also driving out of nieghborhood no smoke trail. Yeah ! Can someone chime in is a .030 restictor fo ingto hurt turbo. I maygo backup to the .060. And do a cold start tmrw see what i get.
Also further looking at drain line its a 10 an has o kinks or upwards movements. But due to hks manifold and turbo placement there is not much of downward slope. Maybe. Why on my particular set up a restrictor is necessary.
Thank you to everyone who replied
