Going single gasket list

hey Everyone,

Sorry to bring this up but i'm currently re-building my motor & plan on going SINGLE , and like others before me spending $550-650 on a kit to end up with a lot of left over parts is what i want to avoid.

so can those who have good knowledge please help me cross off items that are not going to be needed to in this type of build.

I'm sure this thread can be used as a reference to those after me to save as much $$$ as possible for other useful parts.

for sure you'll need the gasket from engine to manifold. turbo inlet and outlet gaskets will be useless , as well as the gaskets for the oil and water feed to the turbo.

it also has to do with the way you decide to run the new water and oil lines to the turbo. If the engine is apart you could consider tapping the front cover for the oil return line if you wanted.
