pics of custom made hoods for v-mount set ups

Hey guys i just got a n/a hood and im looking to modify to let air out of my v-mount, any one got any pics of custom hoods? i had seen a thread were a guy posted how he modify his but i couldn't find it no more. Thanks

Hood Build

Here is what i came up with. I have a spare aluminum hood im going to tig up at some point

I made my hood vents to simply vent the under hood temps, not specificly for a V-mount application. The result is similar.

it will located it in the top of the intercooler which sits in the front of the engine bay, its even better it will cool it down

i just bought the Shine hood and built my v-mount to work perfectly with this hood

not hard at all. its the planning that you have to do, that's the hard part I guess. The card board was to make a mold so it could be transfered to the aluminum hood later on.

It is slightly off center on this hood but it falls right behind the stock fan shroud and should work perfect for v mount setup which is the end goal here.

I looked at some other picture to get some ideas and just started drawing it out. There are inserts that you can buy and mold in if you wanted to cut some corners
