Removing clutch slave cylinder line

Alright so after fighting with unbolting my master for an hour got that out and disconnected however I cant seem to get the line disconected from the slave cylinder. Unless Im mistaken (its always possible) its a 17mm nut however the slave has a little wall around 3/4 the nut so I cant get a flare/line wrench on it and a standard wrench isnt gripping it enough to be able to loosen. Basiclly how do you take the line off?

New slave and hose

If rebuilding or replacing master, scrap the slave - maybe even the hose.

Maybe pull the line off the master and use the closed end of the wrench to get the slave end off. I changed my clutch line about a year ago, but I don't remember how I did it.

remove the slave cyl and put it gently in a vise. heat sparingly with a map gas torch around the area where the line is threaded in. 17mm wrench will work fine but it will take a little muscle.

I just purchased the steel braided line from racing beat when I replaced the master and slave recently the 10mm nut on the metal line is weak be careful not to round it off. But I just removed it all the old line came off with a 17mm at the slave try using some pb blaster or another penetrating oil to make it easier

I just replaced the master and decided to just go ahead and replace the hard line and upgrade to steel braided to the slave as precautionary measures.

Mazda Trix has the new hard line and steel braded for like $30 + shipping... can't go wrong.
