Royal Purple Trasmission Fluid rocks

Hey guys just thought I would give my opinion here.

My second gear was grinding like hell so someone told me to get some High Performance Trans Fluid. The only thing I could find was some Royal Purple at a local performance shop.

Well I put it in and 2nd gear is alot smoother. It still grinds, but no where close to what it was doing before.

Now I know this is not a solution..but until I come up with the money for a rebuild or used good condition trans this is good enough

I don't know about it..........

I blew my motor 1/2 mile after I changed my tranny oil to Royal Purple. I think the oil did it

j/k coincidences suck.

Truthfully, I blew my motor right after I put my Royal Purple in, but it ran great for the 1/2 mile!

Shifting fast from 1st to 2nd at high rpms will ALWAYS grind it. The gear ratio is just too wide for the syncros to catch up....

Unless you are driving normally and your tranny is just fucked up .
