Royal Purple Trasmission Fluid rocks
 

Hey guys just thought I would give my opinion here.

My second gear was grinding like hell so someone told me to get some High Performance Trans Fluid. The only thing I could find was some Royal Purple at a local performance shop.

Well I put it in and 2nd gear is alot smoother. It still grinds, but no where close to what it was doing before.

Now I know this is not a solution..but until I come up with the money for a rebuild or used good condition trans this is good enough :)

BG Synchroshift owns all.

synthetic oil in the trans does wonders, i also use it in my diff.

I blew my motor 1/2 mile after I changed my tranny oil to Royal Purple. I think the oil did it :)

j/k coincidences suck.

Truthfully, I blew my motor right after I put my Royal Purple in, but it ran great for the 1/2 mile!

Shifting fast from 1st to 2nd at high rpms will ALWAYS grind it. The gear ratio is just too wide for the syncros to catch up.... :)

Unless you are driving normally and your tranny is just fucked up ;).
