Yep. Mine bitched cuz it took me a week. She can't say anythning though..my tools were used, and she did say I could have the garage any time I needed it.

IM doing mine right now, past 2yrs mine has spent about 8 months in there, with several other stuff, mom always bitches, too bad

 

i did it a couple of times and they wern't thrilled, but my parents are cool

I did one a few months ago... just did a tranny swap, and am about to do two yes TWO engine swaps in my damn garage... oh man my mom is pissed, only bc she "doesnt have a place for her car".. *******.. park that **** out side.. god damn.... arg, now im all mad, LoL, good luck

 

I did mine a little over a month ago. It took me a about a month because I only worked on it for a couple of hours on saturday and sunday. My parents dint bitch tho. They were pretty cool about it hehe.

I'm doin mine now--no complaints untill I filled my dad's garage space with a disassembled motor :-D

 

We have a 6 car garage that only has enough room left in it for 2, many FC's are lined up to go in that garage, though my mom really doesn't like it

 

I was there too man. My 89 TI took a ****, and then the R2 went down. I am currently in the process of putting a new engine in my TII and I attend school and its at my rents house....LOL

 

That's funny cause it looks like my house. Only the difference is that my dad's Ferrari is right next to my FD and the FC is in another garage.

 

And then my personal hovercraft and helicopter are parked in my solid gold garage, and I keep my rocketcar in my room next to my bed stuffed with $100 bills...

 

actually the part that they are mad at is the stuff that is still there, like the wall o rotor housings.

I'm doing this right now. But my car is in the side yard. And its been there like 2 months. Only reason is I am waiting for a jspec to come in. But now im actually in the process of repainting the engine bay, so it may be even longer. My parents don't seem to have a problem with it.

Ditto. I do work on my moms car, so she cant say ****, unless she wants to pay people to change her oil and her plugs. Ive got a carport/garage. I dont know what the **** it is. Basically a garage without a door, but a carport with 3 sides. Anyway My FC has been in there the past 15 months. She hasnt said a thing. Before that it was my Mustang. We only have 3 spots, so she said if I get another car it goes in the street. I doubt I have the patience for another car, the two I have drive me nuts.

 

my parents are only somewhat concerned about the garage, they go on about how im crazy to want to swap an engine and hows it not going to work. Gotta love their support.

 

I've done the swap in a house that I'm staying at with some alumni (3 1/2 car garage).. actually swapped it twice. Also did a swap in my '80 race car at a shop I get to use because of my job.

I have done a lot of work at my house and my mom never cared. Now that I have an apartment, I have to go elsewhere to work on my car, but I have a pretty good deal as far as that's concerned. We need vosko to reply to this thread and post some of his garage pics, with parts all over the place.
