Hi everyone, I would like to say in advance happy holidays and thank you for responding to this thread. I have searched other threads for a solution, but my 93 rx7 is rather difficult. The stereo wires do not much the other 93 diagrams I have seen on other websites. 12volt, modified life, etc. My rear right speaker wires are blue/white, blue/yellow and my rear left are yellow/green, yellow/blue. None of the wires from any speakers seem to match these diagrams. http://www.modifiedlife.com/1993-maz...-wire-diagram/ and http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/...tail/1409.html. I have everything ELSE figured out, just not the polarity of the speakers which I am worried about. Also, if we can not find a solution. Does it matter if the wires of the cd receiver match the polarity of the car wires?

 

got everything down. My dad was a mechanic so I asked him for wiring diagrams. thanks guys. The Kenwood Excelon x693 is a very nice aftermarket receiver for anyone looking on the market.

 

Sorry for the old thread bump but I apparently have the same radio wiring you do. My right rear blue/yellow and blue/white, which doesn't match the other sites diagrams. Previous owner CUT all of the wires instead of just getting a harness adapter so I'm stuck figuring what all of these wires do.

Do you have the wiring diagram your dad gave you?

 

I pmed you, but if I remember correctly, half the wires were listed incorrectly in the diagram. I will post pictures if I can. I probably will pull out the unit soon to put in an aux cable. Can't believe it's almost been five years since I had the fd
