I am interested in a car that has no cats and the air pump removed. I live in the metro. This car is well developed and tuned to run with this set up and it has many of the common mods.

My Questions -

If I were to throw the stock precat/cat set up on there would I make it through emissions or would it be more involved?

I thought I could throw the air pump back on too but I think the attachment bosses for the air pump may be welded or sealed up...not sure on the details?

Any body messed with this and had success?

I might be able to register it in a farther out County but I hate to mess around with that.
