Nice car... First things first, Upgrades!
I'm not talking about fooling with the turbo or bigger fuel injectors or anything... You should work on the squishy thing you put between the seat and the steering wheel and the pedals.
Get your license and get that puppy to an AutoCross track. You will learn how to handle the car like nothing else and it's good clean fun so that you don't screw around on the streets.

Welcome to the forum, Jake. Nice-looking TII you've found yourself.
ahhhhh 1st love!!
Jake, I've had mine since July '78 - the '79 rx7 "s" model. My wife and I bought MY car on our honeymoon - I think she suspects something! Be a proud owner and take care of your 7!! I have to part with mine after 31 years.......the car, not my wife!

Good choice on the TII. My first car was two 87 TII's that I had to swap the motors between when I was 15. If you have issues don't sell it, you'll regret it like I do every day. Good luck and take care of it, they're a lot of fun.
I plan on getting some upgrades once i get the money and when i get my license first thing i wanna do is take her to an autocross track. i gotta learn how to drive it. Anyone know where there's an auto cross track in north jersey?

Talk about off to a great start!!

..and...everything else lol
