that's pretty vague about paying for anything but replacing the engine....they tell me that , man! and I end up with a complete carbon fiber body with willwoods, huge intercooler the size of a minibar's refrigerator, tubed and backhalved with like a lenco tranny, telemetry haltec electronics and an inboard anatomically perfect human female model to cheer me up when I spank the competition with an old 12A turbocharged engine.

Without replacing the engine? You are dreaming Sounds fishy to me, but I think If you hooked up a chain to a nitro funny car, you might get close to a 10 second car

I was just with rx7.com tonight and there is a guy that they sponsor in a yellow 1st gen. The car has a ford 8.8inch rear, peripheral ported 13b, Jacobs, Haltech, this thing is awsome! He runs in the all motor class which I believe is everything but forced induction and no nos. What I am getting at is this car has everything! weighs in the 1900lbs range and runs low 11s. 10s may be tough to find.

The engine is probably the cheapest thing to build up.... ever price racing suspension parts? Shocks that cost $3000 a corner
