Will S5 GTU mirrors & Tail lights fit on an S4 TII???

I was just wondering because I want to put them on the TII When I get it. I think it will make it look real sweet, Just like the GTU did. Do they fit?

all T2s have the "aero" mirrors stock. the 89 up tailights will fit an 87-88 but you need the center section that holds the liscence plate too. its a very popular upgrade to do to RX-7s but be prepared to fork out a lot of cash for the taillights. they dont go cheap.

You can get by with the S4 center piece, with a bit of cutting.

FC Drifter, the S5 aero mirrors are different from the S4.

the S5 aero mirrors are rounder than the S4 TII ones.

I have the tail lights already. they came on my other Rex. I need to know if the S5 mirrors will fit or not. Do they?

The mirrors are a direct fit. However the S5 lights are a little bit different. I have done both to my FC. for the S5 lights the reverse lights are set up differently. For that reason you will have bend/cut/hammer- whatever to get the lights to sit properly. You can use the S4 center piece but be prepared to chipp off a little bit on both sides. You can get a way with this b'c the broken parts are well hidden.

Some S4 cars come with the cutout for the reverse light already. Its kind of odd, it doesn't seem to go by years or anything. I had an 88 GXL with no cutout, my 88 TII has them, my old 88 TII didn't, my brothers 86 sport had them, my friends 87 TII had them. Damn that got long.

Mazda is good at changing **** and not telling anyone.
