another loss of power thread but like nothing i have ever encountered

here is the situation and ive checked everything:
bumpy idle, bad knock, and no power at the higher the gear the lower the rpm. so its load related
1st gear hit like a rev limiter at 6
2nd at a bit less
3rd and 4th about 4000

its a 86 gxl with s5 turbo swap, s5 keg and turbo, s4 front cover and sensors
stock ecu, fuel cut defender on or off its the same, emisions removed

its lean at about 13.5 and up at the point of the knock/power stop
have compression 95 front 92 rear
new plugs, good wires
just cleaned injectors, 550 primary 720 secondary
bypassed fuel filter just to see and it was the same
switched fuel pump with walbro-same
switched all coils and igniters with known working ones - same
checked and adjusted tps
tested water thermo sensor
took apart harnes and fixed all possible shorts and loose connections-same
ohmed out all pins from ecu to sensors
checked all voltage to and from ecu
switched boost sensor with known working one-same
timing is perfect
grounds are all acounted for
fuel pressure is at 38-40psi
battery/alt. is good and getting good voltage
checked for all possible vacuum leaks
replaced all vacuum lines

ive been on this for months so im sure there are things i have left out
but any help would fanradtastical

try giving it more than a few hours eh?

and i still think it's your turbo, as I had similar power loss symptoms with mine. my turbo had no endplay, but the exhaust wheel was chipped from eating an apex seal. I would hit a massive wall at different rpms depending on the gear, and only under load (boost).

well i started messing with the timing, and the more i advanced it the better it ran till there was no more room to turn the cas. i thought that maybe it was off a tooth so i pulled it out, lined up the marks, and took the cover off to make sure it doesnt turn on me. i got it lined up just right and checked timing and the timing marks on the pully were like 90 degrees off. and it runs worse.
could it be that there is a difference in s5 and s4 pullys since it has a s4 cover on it and s5 block? i know that the pullys go on only one way and i made sure of it but i used the s4 e pully, or am i just in a bad dream and trying to convince myself otherwise?

the pulley should be the s5 pulley. That's why your timing marks are off.

pulleys are matched to the e-shaft.
