Our cars worth more stock????

Need help.... trying to sell a 94 MB rx7, modded pretty heavily....... and it's going for less tan stock ones on ebay.... help......

Should I part it out and sell all the components and then the car stock? It's even got a new engine and it's still going for $17,000, where i've seen stock older ones go for $19,000+. What gives? Is it a bad time for selling rx7s, or do people prefer stock ones?

mods listed below.....

I have heard that they do in fact go for more when they are stock. I have a heavily modded 95 R2, and I found that I could get more for the car if it were stock.....

Buyers are afraid the mods will reduce engine longevity.

If the FD ever becomes collectible, it'll be the totally stock cars that people will be after, and you'll find owners reconverting their cars to stock. If you follow any of the collectible cars, say Ferraris, or Corvettes, or American muscle cars, you'll find people going to insane lenghts to duplicate the original factory appearance. They'll pay big bucks to get original batteries, assembly line inspection stickers on the frame and in the engine bay......they'll even try to repaint the car to duplicate the factory overspray. It's incredibly ****, but that's the way it works. You'll lose points in a concours for anything that doesn't look like the original.

How far into the auction is it? Most ebay auctions don't really pick up until the last couple days, maybe even the last couple hours.. The one I just bought stayed at 12k for a week then jumped up to 13k in the last minute.

Most cars are worth more stock. That's one thing a lt of people don't realize. (Unless they are just reliability mods)

You will get more money if you part it out. But it will take more time and effort. and this of course, is assuming you have all the stock parts you took out.

Just wait for the right buyer. Dont sell your car cheap under the influence of those Ebay FD bidders. They dont know **** anyway.
